Deleum Berhad (“Deleum” or the “Group”), a provider of diverse range of supporting specialised products and services to the oil and gas industry, has appointed Encik Zamani bin Abd Ghani, 41, as Group Chief Operating Officer (“Group COO”). The appointment takes effect on 1 September 2012.
Encik Zamani is no stranger to the Group. He joined Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Delcom Services Sdn. Bhd.) in 1997, had held several senior positions within the Group including Vice President Sales, Power and Machinery Division and Chief Operating Officer, Power and Machinery Division. He was the Senior General Manager of Business Development for the Group prior to his promotion to Group COO.
“Encik Zamani brings with him a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry as he is familiar with the Group’s operations and businesses. This will bear him in good stead as Group COO as he will be able to provide strong directions and continue to deliver operational excellence for each of our business segments,” Deleum Group Managing Director, Encik Nan Yusri commented.
Encik Zamani holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wollongong, Australia.
