SPECIALITY CHEMICAL & WELL STIMULATION
The Specialty Chemical & Well Stimulation (SCWS) unit which is responsible for the provision of specialty chemical and well stimulation services, offers integrated chemical solutions, flow assurance, integrated pipeline cleaning, tank cleaning and pumping services. The unit not only maintained its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, it also re-designed its existing products and services to optimise their cost and improve their effectiveness. The changes, which included improvising the local content in terms of manpower and local blending, made the unit’s spread of offerings more cost efficient and helped strengthen its market position. In 2013, a Research and Development facility was set up in Petaling Jaya and later in 2019 move to Bangsar to further support the Specialty Chemical and Well Stimulation unit’s research and development efforts in developing an integrated suite of chemical solutions that addresses production and flow assurance issues.
